Perfect for solo and budget-conscious travellers, we offer four charming rooms in our historic inn, each with comfy beds, ethical linens, interesting views and original art throughout. With a kitchen, lounge / dining area available for all guests to use, it’s easy to make yourself a quick breakfast, packed lunch or a nice supper after a day on the fells.
We have two simple ensuite rooms (both double) and two single rooms with hand basins, and a spacious shared bathroom with a shower, bath, sink & W.C. One double room is dog-friendly, for which we make a small charge. In the same wing we also have a small, recently refurbished kitchen (hob, fridge & microwave) and comfortable lounge / dining area which are exclusively for guest use. Throughout the rooms we use our own pottery and art collection, so although our accommodation is simple it is full of character.
Regrettably our accommodation is not wheelchair accessible as it is located in the 17th century part of the inn.
