Opening Times

THURSDAYS 1-2PM & 5-10PM

We open every Thursday from 1-2pm for a Community Lunch cooked by our wonderful volunteers Rosemary and Brian. Just £7 per head for a main course, pudding and unlimited tea and coffee. All welcome.
Walk-ins only, no bookings taken. Card payment preferred.

The bar is open again from 5-10pm, with home-made soup and home-made sweet and savoury snacks for sale. We host a weekly talks programme starting at 6:30pm from artists, poets, historians, gardeners and more! Just £5 per ticket. Check out What’s On for info / booking.

FRIDAYS 5-10PM

Friday Evenings are our popular Pizza and Live Music Night. We serve freshly made wood-fired pizzas from 5pm-8:30pm.
Walk-ins only, no bookings taken. Card payment preferred.

SATURDAYS 11AM-4PM

With occasional evening openings of the Stable Bar from 5-10pm by our local volunteers – check our social media for the latest updates,

CafeTeen serves hot and cold food, coffee and lovely cakes on Saturdays 11am-4pm, managed and staffed by our very capable and youngest staff. CafeTeen is a unique youth project supporting local young people to learn business, hospitality and creative skills: Each participant splits their day between working in the cafe and doing creative projects. We especially appreciate your support for this project.

Open on Good Friday April 3rd for wood-fired pizza, 5-10pm (walk ins, no booking necc.)
Open on Saturday April 4th, 11am – 10pm  for light lunches / teas 11am-5pm, bar from 5pm, dinner 6pm-9pm (last orders 8.30pm, walk ins, no booking necc.)
Open on Easter Sunday April 5th for our Very Special Easter Lunch only, 1pm – 4pm with sittings at 1pm & 2pm (pre-booking essential)
Closed on Easter Monday

YOUR SPECIAL EVENT?

Our wonderful bar and dining room is available to hire for parties, conferences, talks, pub quizzes, workshops, weddings – big or small. We can cater in-house or help advise on alternatives. We also have wonderful crafts people on hand to embellish your event with beautiful decorations, flowers or even bespoke crockery! Get in touch to discuss.
